Lizzie Vann is an award-winning pioneer in the world of organic foods. With a background in science and business and a strong interest in health and ecology, she set up the organic children's food company Organix in 1991. The UK's leading orgainc babyfood manufacturer, Organix, has won over a dozen awards, including the You/Soil Association Organic Food Award for Best Babyfood from 1993 to 1998. Lizzie has now launched a high quality range of organic children's food with a strong emphasis on nutritional balance and organic integrity. She continues to work closely with a community of parents, health professionals and food campaigners, driving up standards on all foods that might be eaten by children. In 2000 Lizzie Vann was awarded an M.B.E. for services to the organic food industry.
Launched in London in 1995, Planet Organic pioneered the one-stop organic and natural food supermarket concept in the UK, and are recognised as a leader in their field.
