Philip Steele is a leading author of children’s information books, who has been writing for Dorling Kindersley since 1991. His titles have included A City Through Time (2004) , which featured the brilliant artwork of Steve Noon, and – in the Eyewitness series – Ancient Iraq (2007) and Vote (2008).
Philip writes about history, social issues, lands and peoples. He has travelled widely around the world and currently lives in North Wales. He is married, with a daughter born in 1996.
