Dr. Richard Béliveau

Dr. Richard Béliveau, a leading authority in the field of cancer research, holds the Chair in the Prevention and Treatment of Cancer at the University of Quebec in Montreal, where he is a professor of biochemistry. Dr Béliveau is also a professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Montreal, in the departments of surgery and physiology, and holds the Claude Bertrand Chair in Neurosurgery.  He is the director of the Molecular Medicine Laboratory, Hematology-Oncology Division, in the Charles-Bruneau Cancer Centre at Sainte-Justine Hospital, Montreal.  In a bid to reach as wide an audience as possible, Dr. Béliveau has given many talks and appeared on a range of television programs in Canada.  He is the author of Foods to Fight Cancer.
