Dr. Hope Ricciotti
Dr. Hope Ricciotti is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School and practices obstetrics and gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA. She is the Vice Chair for Medical Education in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the medical center, where she oversees medical student and residency education in women’s health and obstetrics and gynecology. She is the OB/GYN Clerkship Committee Director for Harvard Medical School, the Deputy Director for Education of the Harvard Center of Excellence in Women's Health and the Harvard Medical School Women's Health Theme director—roles in which she oversees the incorporation of women's health into the curriculum at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Ricciotti is also the Chair of the National Center of Excellence in Women's Health Professional Education Working Group.
In addition to education of the medical community and improving patient care, Dr. Ricciotti is also committed to educating the public. She has lectured to numerous women's groups and has written for O, The Oprah Magazine; Glamour; Fit Pregnancy; Pregnancy; Prevention; and, Baby. She has appeared on the “Today Show,” “Good Morning America” and the Food Network discussing women’s nutrition. Dr. Ricciotti is a member of Lluminari, an expert network comprised of highly regarded, well-known health professionals who provide women easy access to health information from a body, mind and spirit perspective. “Chronicle,” a Boston television magazine, named Dr. Ricciotti a “Face to Watch" and Boston magazine included her in its "Best of Boston" round-up.
