Tim Seldin

Currently president of The Montessori Foundation and the chair of the International Montessori Council, Tim Seldin is one of America’s most respected Montessori educators and authors.  As a child, he attended the Barrie School in Silver Spring, Maryland, one of the oldest and best known Montessori schools in the US.  The school was founded and run by his mother, Frances Littman Seldin.  Tim is the author of DK’s How to Raise an Amazing Child the Montessori Way, as well as Celebrations of Life, The World in the Palm of Her Hand, The Montessori Way: An Education for Life, and is a regular contributor to the journals Tomorrow’s Child and Montessori Leadership.  He regularly keynote speaks and chairs The Montessori Foundation’s annual international conferences.
