Animal Life
Ever wondered which animal can survive for 80 million years without sex? Or which animal eats its siblings before they've even left the womb? Animal Life brings together a myriad of incredible stories about mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and invertebrates that will enthrall even the most knowledgeable animal lover. Overseen by the acclaimed zoologist and journalist, Charlotte Uhlenbroek, who has spent much of her life living alongside and observing the world’s wildlife, and authenticated by the American Museum of Natural History, no other book combines such a breadth of knowledge, sumptuous images, and cutting-edge design to bring the animal world to life on the printed page with the drama and intensity it deserves. If you think you know everything there is to know about animals from watching the Discovery Channel and PBS documentaries, think again.
