On page 21 of my journal, I sketched three star signs on the wheel of the Stella:
VELA, PYXIS, CARINA
Their names are in Latin – did you look up what they mean?
I had a flash of inspiration on page 75:
"Maybe Joe was using a foreign language. I'll have to look up SAIL, COMPASS, and KEEL in a Latin dictionary"
...but I never did - did you?
My horoscope on page 88 pointed me to the stars.
Have you noticed that all these clues are linked to the stars? Vela, Pyxis, and Carina are the Latin words for "sail", "compass", and "keel". Even the yacht's name, Stella, means "star" in Latin.
So the Stella was the right place to look - but how come I didn’t find the treasure when I first dived this wreck?
