How do I find a book on dk.com?

The quickest way to find the book you are looking for is to use our Search facility. It is located in a pale green bar on the top right hand corner of each page.
Here you can search
by keyword: ex.. parenting - if you are looking for a book or books related to a particular subject, you can use the keyword search. The keyword search will also recognize title and author names.
by title: ex. Questions Children Ask - you can either enter the complete title or just one or more words from the title.
by author: e.g. Miriam Stoppard - if you are looking for books by a particular author, you can search on that author's name.
by ISBN: ex.0789433336 - if you already know the exact ISBN for the book you are looking for, enter this number in the search box.
By series: Entering a series name (e.g. AHS Practicals) - if you require a full listing of books that are part of a particular series, entering the series name will give you the results you require.

You can also use our advanced search page, or our DK Browse or Children's Books Browse to find titles in all our categories.

I've tried to search for a Dorling Kindersley book but I can't find it on dk.com.

dk.com is the website of Dorling Kindersley, so if the book you are looking for is not published by Dorling Kindersley in the US, or is currently out of print, it will not be posted on dk.com.

The book may not be appearing for the following reasons.

1. It is out of stock
To guarantee that our customers get the best possible service we use an outside fulfilment house to fulfil our products. Unfortunately, the book you are looking for is currently out of stock at our distribution house.

We recommend that you try ordering it from an alternative book supplier, or try again at a later date when the item should come back into stock.

2. It is out of print
If you are looking for a title which is now out of print, try an out of print book finding service.
